Directions to Hillendale Hunting Club 

DIRECTIONS Hunters traveling North on I-99, (new Rt. 220)
  • Six miles North of Altoona take the Bellwood exit #41 (Rt. 865).
  • At exit ramp stop sign, turn right, and drive over Skelp Mountain.
  • At the stop sign in the small town of Skelp, turn right. 
  • Go one half mile to a stop sign. Go STRAIGHT THRU.
  • Go one and one half mile to stop sign. (this road makes a couple of dog legs)
  • At the stop sign, farm, office and kennel is one half mile to the left.
  • Club house is one quarter mile to the right, across from the Lutheran church.
Hunters traveling South on I-99, (new Rt. 220)
  • Six miles South of Tyrone take the Bellwood exit #41 (Rt. 865).
  • At exit ramp stop sign, turn left, and  drive over Skelp Mountain.

  • Go one half mile to a stop sign. Do not turn right, stop and then Go STRAIGHT THRU.
  • Go one and one half mile to stop sign. (this road makes a couple of dog legs)
  • You must turn right or left. Farm, office and kennel is one half mile to the left.
  • Club house is one quarter mile to the right, across from the Lutheran church
  Hunters traveling West from Huntingdon
  • At Water Street turn right onto Rt. 453 North towards Tyrone.
  • Go 3 miles and turn left at road sign to Arch Springs.
  • Travel 2 miles to Presbyterian Church.
  • Just after church, turn left on Kettle Road.
  • Travel one mile and turn right on to first road on right (Morrow Road).
  • Go two miles to Hillendale farm, office and kennels. (Hillendale sign on right).
  • Club house is 3/4 mile past Hillendale office, across from the Lutheran church.
